Hello, I'm trying to install MDAC2.6 SP1 on a Windows 2000 machine but it is failing with the following error : "Setup cannot be completed because errors encountered." Anyone know how I can find out what these errors were and how I can resolve them? Many thanks Kevin Munro.

I downloaded the MDAC utility, ran it & results were MDAC 2,8 SP1 - all componet files were 2004 version xp..... I downloaded the Jet 4.0 and got "file A utility I monitored the function with idicated over 6 gig of memory being utilized with no results. Computer has to be restarted to release the application.

Although I set the Release Wizard to leave the files to be distributed in an uncompressed and unpackaged form, during the build all files of the DCOM95-, MDAC2.6- MM's are included into the msi db. In my project I'm also using the MS-Access 97 MM, and its files are not included in the db.

My beef is that I can run my VFP 6 apps but I cannot do anymore programing to VFP 6 on my Vista Workstation because you can't load Visual Studio Service Pack 5.
